Help Us Save Lucy’s Life

This is Lucy, our sweet, playful 4-year-old pup who’s always been the heart of our home. A few days ago, our world was turned upside down when Lucy suddenly became lethargic and withdrawn. We took her to the vet, where they discovered fluid around her lungs and rushed her to the emergency hospital.

Since then, Lucy has been fighting for her life. She’s undergone multiple emergency procedures including draining fluid from her lungs and placing chest tubes in both sides and she remains hospitalized while specialists run tests. The likely diagnosis is serious: a lung lobe torsion, abscess, or mass. Each of these conditions requires urgent, invasive surgery to save her.

The total cost of Lucy’s care is estimated at over $25,000, and while we’re doing everything we can, we simply can’t do it alone.

We are devastated, but we’re holding on to hope because Lucy isn’t just a pet. She’s our best friend, our comfort, our joy. She’s been there through the hardest moments of our lives, and now we want to be there for her.
