Bringing Fumel Students to California – Let’s Make It Happen Again!

For 16 years, Silicon Valley International School students have traveled to Fumel, France, where they’ve been warmly welcomed and immersed in French culture. Last year, for the very first time, we invited Fumel students to California, and thanks to your generous support, their visit was a wonderful success.

Now we’re ready to do it again! In February 2026, we hope to welcome a new group of students from Fumel for the second year in a row. But we can’t make this cultural exchange possible without your help.

Why It Matters

This program is more than a trip, it’s a true exchange that builds lasting friendships, strengthens global understanding, and enriches both communities. Students from Fumel, some of whom hosted our Palo Alto students last April, will stay with local families, join classes, and discover iconic Bay Area sites like San Francisco, Alcatraz, and Stanford.

Fumel Palo Alto est une association qui relie les élèves de deux écoles: Jean Jaurès à Fumel et Intl de Palo Alto.

L'an passé, en Février, grâce à la mobilisation de français et des californiens, 16 enfants Fumelois ont pu vivre l'incroyable expérience de découvrir Palo Alto San Francisco et sa région. Ils ont aussi accueilli leurs correspondants en avril en France.

Cette année, nos nouveaux élèves de CM1 et CM2 sont super motivés pour vivre, comme leurs aînés, ce voyage qui change la vie !
