Full Turnout 5k for Walt Lindahl

Hello, my name is Elias Carlson. I’ve been hearing recently about Walt Lindahl and his illness, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) he’s been battling so hard. I met Walt through his nephew Zach Cobenias and fished with them on a couple occasions and learned Walt is a brother of the fire service. Feeling compelled to help a member of the firefighter family, I will be running the Bemidji Blue Ox 5k in full turnout gear on October 8th 2021, to raise funds to help Walt and his family In these troubling times. Full turnout gear is all the gear required for firefighters to enter, and fight a structure fire and weighs around 45lbs. I hope to see everyone there to help support Walt and his family. Thank you!
