Hello, 
My name is Laura Landa. I was born with a severe case of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. This is a disability that limits me from using my muscles. The older I get the weaker my muscles will become. At this moment I am limited to only using my hands which makes it hard for me to do day to day tasks.
Currently I am attending San Jose city community college as  a full time student.  My major is Computer programming / engineering. I chose this major because I am passionate and eager to learn the use of technology. This is also a benfitional major for myself because this only requires the use of my hands. 
The reason I am reaching out to the community is because I am eagor to continue my education and to do so I need a certain computer that will accomidate the assistive technology that I use to get my school work done. After reviewing the recent laptops that have came out this year, the one that acommidates me the most is the Apple Mac Book Pro. 
Im reaching out to you because I would be thankful to receive this laptop. Although I have this disabiltiy that limits me so much to the point where i can only use my hands, I still want to be able to give back to the community and further educate myself. By receiving this computer,  I will not only be able to further educate myself but I will also be able to inspire others like me, who are disabled and feel like life is limited.
