Full time off grid van dweller and blown engine

Hi, My name i katey Jane and I live full time in my motorhome off grid in the UK. I never thought I would do this kind of thing but life tends to throw things at me far too often. My life as a child has been one for adventure, a simple life of being in nature, fishing, hiking so on, I only did 3 years schooling and worked as a child, was brought up in the fens in Cambridgeshire, was taught the ways of fishing and living of the land and marshes, a very tough and hard life but it taught me about life.

After my mother and her sister died in 2020 and 2021 I moved into the motorhome to live the life i had seen on tv as a child, never seeing hills, mountains, waterfalls and much more before as the fens was a flat place full of farms. All I wanted to do is hike and seek new adventures but my health got in the way so many times. in and out of hospital with lower back, leg failure and low blood sugar issues, so bad it would render me useless for days. To top it off in 2023 my motorhome was hit by a bus, causing part of the roof and the right side windows to be torn off which left me with 4 broken teeth and a pain day in the dentist. it took 4 months to repair the motorhome where i spent that time in emergency housing in Scotland.

While fighting health issues, still trying to live my life, while shopping on the 7th of may motorhomes engine blow up leading to the loss of the engine and at the moment am stuck in a town car park waiting for a local machine to find an replacement engine. It will cost around £5000 due to the old engine has to be removed and the parts from the old engine added to the new which takes a few days to complete.

Since going full time, i've had no luck, with me and the motorhome. I never thought just trying to live a life would be that hard. It drives me up the wall when i can't walk due to my body not working and the having issues with the van just makes life that hard.

The funds will be used for the a refurbished engine and labour charges plus parts like gaskets so on.
