We are a group of students at UNC's Kenan Flagler Business School that are focused on forming an organization and raising funds for a local nonprofit as a part of our organizational behavior course. We chose the nonprofit TABLE, which addresses food insecurity directly in our community by delivering healthy food and nutrition education to children in Orange County, North Carolina. We envision a community where all children have equitable access to nutritious food and knowledge in order to experience optimal health, well-being, and dignity. Through your donations, food access and nutrition education programs will help improve children’s overall health, increase children’s knowledge of nutrition, create positive attitudes toward healthy eating, and ensure kids have access to and eat sufficient nutritious food.
