Full body scan needed to find any cancer. Not covered on NHS

I tested positive for circulating tumour cells (CTCs) in my blood. CTCs are cancer cells that have detached from a primary tumour or metastasis and entered the bloodstream, potentially seeding secondary tumours in other parts of the body. This test can detect cancer in its very early stages.

I will put these results up on social media. I can be found by searching for 'Hayley Eileen Gould' or 'It's a Sublime Life'.

In many cases, these cells will indicate where in the body the main tumour may be, but in my case, they didn't.

I have set up this fundraiser because I now need a full body MRI scan and/ or a full body PET CT scan with tracer*. This is to find any cancer. Speed is critical, particularly in finding some cancers.

*Should any other type of diagnostics/treatments be deemed necessary, then the money may be used for that.

Due to this type of blood test being new and only available privately it seems that the NHS do not have processes in place do deal with it and there have been delays and they are currently saying that they will not give me the full body scan that i need. This is why i have set up this fundraiser.

I will continue to push the NHS to provide these diagnostics but, I will only wait a sensible amount of time for the NHS to provide these to me, if they do (or if I manage to obtain them for free in another way), then great. In that case** this money will be used to support me to raise awareness of this new blood test that can detect up to 70 different types of cancer in its very early stages. I believe that it should be available in the NHS and not just for private patients. People need to know about this test. My ideas are to go on podcasts, TV, radio, and social media to raise awareness. It is also to raise awareness in the NHS of this blood test and the processes that are needed to deal with a patient who has tested positive.
