About us
My name is Brigitta, and my husband is Roland.
We have been living in Spain for 7 years now; earlier we both have worked for radios in Hungary. We were seriously into our jobs, we loved it, it was our real passion. (I'm a news reader, my husband a sound technician and DJ)
But after some time, we needed to decide whether we will become political puppets, or we leave. We left our positions, and we had a go to achieve my childhood dream, which was Spain; I simply adored it for my whole life. Even though we still have no clue how we could survive the toughest first years, we are here. We started our journey without knowing what we will do next, but eventually – with some help of friends – we rushed into a business built on ’Chimney-cake’, which went bust after a month.
We had no savings, but never wanted to turn back to Hungary. Therefore, we started from scratch and kept walking to the top. We have lived with cockroaches for months, then in a kitchen of one of our acquaintances, before we had enough money to rent a cheap, although acceptable place. Hard work paid off: on one hand, we have built the most successful business in Spain with our Chimney-cake, but on the other hand, we had a physical breakdown, because there was a lot of weight put on our shoulders. We still have serious joint pain, I have arthritis in my hands and in my waist, and my husband have it, too but in his ankles and hips… and we barely passed our thirties!
We have been trying hard to do something new, which we could really practice with love, but life did not open us the door until coronavirus burst into the world. Here, in Spain all of our fairs and events – on which we have been working for long years now – have called off, and we do not know when we could start working again. Once again, we have no real savings, and still have no incomings. We have never lived high, or in luxury, and also never had accumulated funds. Thus we were – and we are – in the middle of a really hard period.
In the beginning of the quarantine in March, I started my blog (www.tothbrigitta.com) on which I reported news from Spain in my mother tongue. Luckily, it was a success. I did not count on a huge audience, however thousands – even ten thousands– of people started to follow my work. I began to do this just because I loved it; to do something familiar, something that is really close to my heart. Seeing the achievements, we decided to reach a higher lever: we began to produce news in the quality of TV-programmes. I recorded the material of the news, then my husband worked with the professional videos. Lots and lots of people read and follow the blog and the Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/c/BrigittaTothInfo), often asking me to give some more information or help, to which I respond with a kind heart, because I always love to help other people. We are doing all these stuff for free, we have no incomings from these works which I mentioned before. (We are working till we drop, although we do not know how to pay for our rent, our loans or even for our lunch.)
Our goal
We would love to begin an online radio for Hungarians living here in Spain, and even for others who feel interested, and wants to be informed, in additon who would love to listen to good Hungarian and Spanish music. With all of these, we could help to rebuild Spanish tourism together. This radio is our long-cherished dream, and we have a strong feeling that we can achieve it now. We would be really grateful if you could help us on our journey, because on our own, we cannot finance this dream to come true.
As you can see, we already have a minimal equipment (bought earlier), but unfortunately it isn't enough to start.
On our channel, you could be listening news, entertainment shows, touristic information, quality music, and of course we are always opened to new ideas which could help us to develop and meet the needs of our audience. Of course, our long-term goal is to become self-supporting as soon as possible, but we need time to do so. Until then, we need to cover the costs.
We appreciate all your help, and we would like to say a massive thank you for you all who help us to recover from our financial problems, and also to make our dreams come true.

Rólunk
A nevem Brigitta, a férjem pedig Roland. Spanyolországban élünk 7 éve, előtte, Magyarországon mindketten rádiósok voltunk (én hírszerkesztó, ő hangtechnikus, DJ).
Imádtuk a munkánkat, valódi szerelem volt, ám mivel nem akartunk politikai bábukká válni, ezért 2013-ban felmondtunk és belevágtunk egy kalandba mely gyerekkori vágyam volt. Rajongtam Spanyolországért. Magunk sem tudjuk, hogyan éltük túl az első évek nehézségeit. Úgy indultunk útnak, hogy fogalmunk sem volt, mit fogunk csinálni.
Végül baráti segítséggel belekezdtünk egy kürtőskalácsos vállalkozásba, ami egy hónap után csődbe ment. Nem voltak tartalékaink, de nem akartunk visszafordulni sem, így a nulláról kezdtük el felküzdeni magunkat a csúcsra. Hónapokig éltünk egy csótánytanyán, majd egy ismerős konyhájában, mire végül sikerült annyi pénzt összekovácsolnunk, hogy kibérelhessünk egy olcsó, de tisztességes lakást. A kemény munka végül meghozta gyümölcsét: a legsikeresebb kalácsos vállalkozást építettük fel Spanyolországban. Fizikailag tönkrementünk a munkában, túl nagy volt a terhelés. Nekem a kezeim és a derekam, a férjemnek a bokája és a csípője kopott el, pedig alig múltunk el 30 évesek. Évekig próbáltunk másik lábra állni, olyasvalamit csinálni, amit szívből szerethetünk, ám az élet nem akart kiengedni minket a kürtőskalácsból a koronavírus-válságig. Amikor a járvány terjedni kezdett Spanyolországban, az összes rendezvényünket lefújták és a mai napig nem tudni, mikor kezdődnek újra a vásárok, melyeken éveken át dolgoztunk.
Február eleje óta nincs bevételi forrásunk, sem több ezer eurós tartalékunk. Sosem éltünk nagy lábon, nem voltak felhalmozott pénzeink, így különösen nehéz időszak előtt álltunk és állunk.
Márciusban, a karantén kezdetén indítottam egy blogot (www.tothbrigitta.com), melyen a spanyolországi hírekről számoltam be az anyanyelvemen. A felület sikeres lett, nem számítottam arra, hogy ezrek, sőt tízezrek olvassák majd a bejegyzéseimet. Csak szeretetből csináltam, hogy visszatérhessek egy kicsit arra a vonalra, ami a szívemnek kedves. A sikert látva úgy döntöttünk, hogy tovább fejlődünk: televíziós minőségű híranyagokat kezdtünk el készíteni. Hangban rögzítettem a híreket, a férjem pedig videós anyagot készített belőlük. Rengetegen olvasnak, követnek a blogon, a Youtube-on (www.youtube.com/c/BrigittaTothInfo) és kérik a segítségemet, melyre tiszta szívvel, ellenszolgáltatás nélkül reagálok, mert örülök, ha segíthetek.
Pénzünk nem származik egyik felületből sem, ingyen csinálunk mindent, miközben nem tudjuk, miből fedezzük a következő havi lakbérünket, étkezésünket, hiteleinket. (Továbbra sincs komolyabb bevételi forrásunk miközben kifulladásig dolgozunk.)
A célunk
Szeretnénk indítani egy online rádiót a Spanyolországban élő, illetve a Spanyolország iránt érdeklődőknek, hogy hasznos információhoz juthassanak, spanyol és magyar zenét hallgathassanak, hogy segíthessük vele a spanyol turizmus talpra állítását és az ott élő magyarokat is. Régi álmunk volt ez és úgy érezzük, most jött el az ideje annak, hogy megvalósítsuk.
Ehhez kérnénk a segítségeteket, mert önerőből nem tudjuk 100%-ban finanszírozni.
Amint látható is a képen, amit tudtunk, már beszereztünk, de ez még kevés, hogy valójában elindulhassunk. A csatornán hírek, színes, szórakoztató műsorok, turisztikai anyagok, minőségi zenék szólnának és természetesen folyamatosan fejlesztenénk a hallgatói igényeknek megfelelően.
Ami biztos: profi szinten, hisz alapvetően ez az eredeti szakmánk. Természetesen a cél, hogy önfentartó legyen a rádió, de ehhez egyelőre idő kell.
Addig viszont fedezni kell a költségeket. Nagyon köszönjük, ha támogattok bennünket egyrészt az anyagi nehézségeinkből való kilábalásban, másrészt az újabb álmunk megvalósításában!
