Roberto A. Tanner was the husband to Hannah Tanner, aka Hannah Neville, and the father of their unborn child, Rynnlee. Shortly after Hannah was reported endangered and missing, he was also reported missing. A week after he was reported missing, his half-brother, Sterling James, and his wife, Sayde Titus, admitted to shooting, burying, digging up, and reburying both Robbie and Hannah and their unborn child.
Roberto Tanner was by no means an angel throughout his life, serving multiple sentences behind bars for various crimes. Robbie, upon release from 3 years of incarceration in Nebraska, was making an effort to change his life. He met Hannah Neville while still living in Nebraska, before they moved to Texas. He was employed at American Hat Company making cowboy hats. While Robbie was on the path of bettering his life, he married Hannah. Shortly after, they found out they were expecting a child, later named Rynnlee. Robbie had moved back to Nebraska, his wife, Hannah, following shortly after.
One night, in their home in Stromsburg, Nebraska, Roberto and Hannah had a marital dispute. Roberto had reached out to Sterling, his half-brother, for a place to stay during this dispute. Hannah and Roberto shortly after reconciled their differences, and Hannah made the trip from Stromsburg, NE to Lincoln, NE to pick him up. Shortly after she arrived to pick up Robbie, a dispute between Sterling James, Sayde Titus, and Roberto occurred over text messages that then led to an unimaginable nightmare. The loss of 2 young lives, and 1 that had yet to begin.
In his final moments, he became one of three victims of a tragedy that not only cost his life but the lives of his family to be. Robbie was shot multiple times while fleeing from his half-brother, who had just shot his wife, Hannah, twice in the vehicle. This fateful night, his family lost a grandson, son, father, brother, uncle, and nephew.
The proceeds of this fundraiser are to help fund services and the fulfillment of Roberto's final wishes of cremation, the ceremony, and one last trip to Corpus Christi, Texas to have his ashes spread in the ocean.
