Any support and help to grant our moms last wishes will be appreciated and our family will be forever grateful.
Our mother Yolanda was a strong, loving, caring and beautiful woman who did everything possible to make her family happy and made sure we has whatever we needed regardless the sacrifices she had to make. If you knew her you knew she loved to make people laugh with her stories and her laugh was contagious. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and breast cancer, she was able to beat both, smiling through her rough circumstances. She always made sure we were okay and to not worry, unfortunately she suffered a stroke in July 2021 which left her unable to walk or speak, it took away so much of who she was. She fought to recover but suffered a seizure in December 2021and was hospitalized. Her previous cancers had come back and spread to her bones and spine, she decided not to undergo surgery or chemo because her body was not able to take either. She came home to live out her last month with her family she was given 6 months with us but on January 7th, 2022 at 10:55am God and her decided it was time to no longer suffer, we said goodbye for the last time. She would have celebrated her 73rd birthday on January 23rd.
