Creating memories for Jess and her young family
Donation protected
It is a strange thing to realise and accept your mortality at 37 years young. It’s one of those things you ignore. The days go by and you just expect they will keep on coming; until the unexpected happens.
Jessica Switzer, mum of three (Ashton 8, Kayla 7 & Harley 4) was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 at the age of 33.
Since her diagnosis Jess has endured radiation, IV chemotherapy, hormone therapy and oral chemotherapy - all of which her cancer quickly learnt to resist. In December 2020 Jess received the devastating news that her cancer had metastasized. Jess has since had a fourth line of treatment on a PARP inhibitor and is currently being treated at home with a palliative care team.
Jess always imagined herself growing old, wrinkled and grey - most likely caused by the beautiful family she created with the love of her life Tim. We all want that for her so much it hurts.
But the control is now out of her hands. However, there is one thing we CAN control and that is making sure she can tick off some of her F$$K-it BUCKET LIST experiences.
As her village, her community, her friends, her family, her loved ones - LET'S do this together! Let's raise all the money we can to help our beloved Switzer family during the battle of their lives. See, that’s the thing about life; it is fragile, precious and unpredictable and each day is a gift, not a given right. So let's ALL make damn sure we can give her the GIFT of some bucket list experiences with her family or for Tim to not worry about the mortgage for a time as he cares for his wife or for their 3 gorgeous children to enjoy lasting memories with their precious mum.
Donate now, donate generously, or donate $1 - anything you can give will help this wonderful cause.
We will continue to post updates on how Jess is going as we can.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
From her Village Family.
