Hi, We're Lucia and Akari. We are taking part in the British School in Tokyo Fuji Five Lakes Ultramarathon event, and we are raising money towards the construction of a school in Nepal - United World School which will be our third partner school our school has helped fund - UWS Nayagaun in Nepal.

The event is from Friday, 24th April to Saturday, 25th April 2026 with a stay overnight at Lake Kawaguchiko. We are part of a relay team running right around the base of Mount Fuji, Japan. An ultramarathon is a very long running race, in this case, about 120 kilometers in total. That’s the distance of running all the way around the five lakes near Mount Fuji. We will each do many 5km stints towards it.
