Our beloved friend Gwen Miramontes passed away suddenly at 31 on December 14th 2023. Her loss is felt deeply in our community. Gwen recently married her devoted partner, Sage Ambrose, in October in a beautiful ceremony. Sage is trying to grieve, but is dealing with an urgent financial struggle. Donations will go to cover housing and moving-related costs, outstanding bills/debt, financial help to the family, and a celebration of life. These funds will help Sage stay afloat and will give them the opportunity to heal from this unbelievable loss.

Gwen was a beautiful, kind-hearted, loving, snarky, silly, wonderful human being who will be tremendously missed by many. So many of us wouldn't be who we are without her presence in our lives. A celebration of life will take place soon to honor her. No one should need to be concerned with finances, shelter, and basic needs while grieving the unexpected loss of a spouse.
