Hello this is the mother of Selena. In this picture she was talking to the school trying to ask questions about orientation as we take her to her dorm room!

We were hit with news that she needs to pay 2500.00 by August 25, 2023 to stay at Norfolk State University. They advised her today that if the 2500.00 is not paid by Friday they will unenroll her from classes and she will have to leave the campus. I do not want this for her and I do not want her to feel defeated. She has signed up for more scholarships and even work program. This is a lot to ask but I am coming to you asking and taking away my pride all for my daughter.

My daughter has done all she can and deserves to stay in school. I did not want to do a go fund me but I have tried to get loans and even seen if I could take from my 401k I have no other resources but this.

I ask that if you can give anything towards helping Selena that be great. She even said mom should I go for Freshmen queen or something like that she is so excited and I just want her to enjoy school and not worrying about packing up her stuff and returning home.

P.S she was honor roll in high school and had a job and she paid for everything dorm room fees, books and other stuff for school we are just short this 2500.00
