Help Zaid With his Battle Against Cancer!
We are fundraising money for a life saving surgery that is needed for our 13-year-old nephew Zaid Alexander Utrilla Marquez (@capzaid07).
In October 2020, Zaid was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a rare cancer of the bone and metastasis in his lungs. Since then Zaid has undergone multiple surgeries. On January 19, 2021, his right leg was amputated. On February 12, 2021, he had surgery to remove the metastasis and suffered a heart attack during surgery of 5 minutes. On May 19, 2021, he had another surgery to remove metastasis and they were only able to operate on his right lung as he suffered a hemorrhage of 4 liters of blood.
He is in need of another surgery to remove the cancer metastasis from his lungs! However, the cost to obtain surgery is outside of the family's financial means.
