First and foremost, THANK YOU for your continued thoughts and prayers for Nicole Dziura. God hears all of our prayers! Second, we seek your help raising funds so she can keep fighting! Nicole's family and friends are creating a GoFundMe to give her another chance to continue the fight against cancer!

Nicole, wife of Mike Dziura and mother of Olivia, 18, Cooper, 15, and Kenzie, 12, was diagnosed with cancer on February 15, 2022, stage two, grade 3, triple-negative breast cancer, known as the BEAST! She started chemotherapy immediately in March 2022 and continued through September 2022. Following her chemotherapy, she had a double mastectomy in October 2022, where she incurred many complications. In January 2023, Nicole continued fighting with extensive radiation treatments.

Unfortunately, her cancer progressed to stage three. A new chemotherapy was introduced, but she had to stop it because she faced difficulties with these treatments. In May 2023, the cancer became stage four and metastasized to her lungs, chest wall, and a spot by her heart that was inoperable. Unfortunately, in January 2024, cancer spread to her brain. She was treated with gamma knife radiation to treat the tumors. A week ago, Nicole was considered for a clinical trial but was deeply saddened to learn that she was not a candidate due to the size of the tumors.

After being defeated by the clinical trial, Nicole and Mike will travel this week to Dana Farber Cancer Institute to see if there is another clinical trial that she can participate in with their Center. Nicole is also seriously considering alternative medicine as a final option. These treatments (if she can handle the travel) will require her to be out of state.

Since her diagnosis, Nicole and her husband have been traveling back and forth to Roswell Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York, with many overnight stays, as well as ensuring their children were taken care of. They have incurred SIGNIFICANT medical expenses and various travel expenses. In addition, alternative medicine treatment costs are unaffordable at this point.

If you know Nicole, you know she is a fighter and a very proud person who asks for nothing from people. She never wants to burden anyone with her troubles. She's always thinking of others, asking how you are to take the attention off of herself. This GoFundMe is a last resort for her. We ask for your support to help her fight the fight and not look back with the words, "I could have or should have." Anything you can do to help support Nicole and her family would be greatly appreciated, especially your faith in God's ability to heal her.
