Hi, my name is Madi, and I’m trying to raise $120,000 to help my mom, Casey, continue her breast cancer treatment.
Her doctors estimate that treatment will last about a year, and it’s costing us an average of $4,500 every single week — nearly $20,000 a month. The goal of $120,000 seems steep but that is only enough to cover 6 months of treatment. We are not wealthy. We don’t have the ability to come up with that kind of money on our own, no matter how hard we try.
My mom is the strongest and most selfless person I know. She has spent her entire life putting everyone else first, never herself. She is stubborn in the best way — determined, resilient, and one of the fiercest fighters I’ve ever known.
The emotional toll is heavy and I’m praying that the financial burden won’t be what stands in the way of her receiving treatment. I hope to raise $120,000 to ensure she can continue receiving the treatment she needs without interruption — without delays, without added stress, without having to worry about whether we can afford the next week.
I never imagined I would be asking strangers for help. It’s humbling, and it’s hard. But when it comes to my mom, I will do absolutely anything.
If 120,000 people gave just $1, we would reach our goal. Every single dollar matters. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean the world to us. Even taking the time to read our story means more than you know.
Thank you for caring. Thank you for standing with us. And thank you for helping my mom fight — and beat — cancer.
With love,
Madi
