My name is Makena, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my dad, Arthur Plant.

A while back, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, he was able to overcome it, but the radiation treatments left him with lasting damage that has caused ongoing health complications. Because of this, he now has to travel to Dartmouth five days a week for continued treatment and care. This is supposed to go on for at least 90 days.

As you can imagine, the cost of gas and constant travel is adding up quickly. On top of that, there have been increasing trips to the emergency department, which has only added more financial strain on our family.

My dad spent years working as a truck driver, and now he’s facing a different kind of road…one that requires a lot of time, energy, and support just to get through each week.

We’re asking for help to cover the cost of transportation to and from his treatments. Any amount, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference for him and for our family.

He is a father to two daughters and a grandfather, and we just want to make sure he can continue getting the care he needs without the added stress of how to afford getting there.
