Fuel Your Heart: Operation Mile In Your Boots

Running fuels our hearts. We hope to fuel the heart of others by raising awareness, interaction and money for those affected by and battling the wildfires on the West Coast.
We will run 1 mile, in a weighted vest, every day that the fires continue uncontrolled. We ask that you donate and join us in our 1 miles runs. Not a runner? That's okay! Wear a weighted vest if you have one or enjoy a 1 mike walk!

100% of funds collected will be donated to those in need: local firefighters, displaced families and wildlife rescue.

About the fires:
Wildfires in California and Colorado have been active and growing since this past Monday (Aug. 17, 2020). These fires are spreading over 40,000 acres in California and 87,000 acres in Colorado. Currently, the fires in California are 5% contained and the fires in Colorado are 7% contained.

Our thoughts, prayers and hearts go out to those affected by, fighting, evacuating and relocating due to these fires. Our hope is to give back the best way we know how. Running to make a change.

The Spontaneous Runner: $10 per run
The Weekly Warrior: $50 per week (7 days)
The Fuel Your Heart Athlete: $100 for full participation
