The Lanier County Marching Band was thrilled to be invited to perform at the 2025 Daytona 500 NASCAR race. Sadly, Hurricane Helene had other plans. The storm caused heavy damage throughout South Georgia, and our school system was hit especially hard. Our band room was badly damaged, and our band trailer was destroyed, which meant we had to cancel our Daytona trip.

This year, we are so grateful to have been invited back, and our students are more excited than ever. The band will have the incredible honor of performing on the track before the race, and our drumline will welcome fans at the gates as they arrive. To make this dream a reality for every student, we are raising money to help with food and hotel costs.

Every donation, big or small, will help us give these students an experience they will never forget. Thank you for supporting our band family and for helping us share our music on such a big stage.
