We are UW-Madison’s rocketry team, and with our team of over 60 members, we design, build, test, and launch high-powered launch vehicles. This year, we’re competing for the first time in the FAR intercollegiate rocketry tournament!

Our main focus is on a liquid bipropellant rocket. By choosing to build this advanced rocket, our team is tackling a highly complex technical challenge. This is the same core technology that is launching satellites and taking humans to orbit. Competing in this advanced category is a significant step for our program. We are aiming to prove that UW-Madison's top-ranked engineering talent can lead the nation in aerospace innovation.

We are on the verge of making this a reality and are approaching major milestones:

Conducting our first-ever engine hot-fire.

Finishing the manufacturing of our custom-built fuel tanks.

Building a modular mobile test rig to rapidly develop and perfect our technology.

These milestones will serve as landmarks for our team, the university, and the state, but they are also incredibly expensive. We have created this GoFundMe to raise the money needed to purchase the critical components required to achieve these goals. Your contribution goes straight to supporting our student members, ensuring that as many students as possible can be involved, gain hands-on experience, and attend our competition.
