Fuel the Future of Filmmaking with Code: Brown

Code: Brown is a student-led short film by J. Wyatt Turner, Jordan Zamojcin, and Eric Dang. Together, we developed the idea to create a film, eventually coming to the idea of Code: Brown. With over a year's worth of pre-production, we're finally coming up on production.

Code: Brown - Elevator Pitch:

"​​Alan, a disillusioned man finds himself aimlessly drifting through life until a phone call offers a glimpse of change. Invited to DTA, he is thrust into a bizarre situation that challenges his perceptions of reality and identity."

ABOUT THE TEAM:

J. WYATT TURNER - Writer/Director/Producer

J. Wyatt Turner is a student filmmaker attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington. A part of the Adobe Digital Media Academy in high school, and now a member of the Flicker Film Society and co-managing the Flicker YouTube Society, he has many years of experience writing, acting, and leading. This will be his first time directing a project of this scale, but with his previous experience, we're confident in his ability to do so.

JORDAN ZAMOJCIN - Writer/Cinematographer

Jordan Zamojcin is an artist and student filmmaker in the Digital Media Academy at Middle Creek High School. Through dabbling in numerous artistic mediums, including film, animation, voice acting and graphic design, Jordan has been awarded a Student Emmy for Animation by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Best Student Narrative at the Longleaf Film Festival in 2023, and a variety of awards through SkillsUSA. He looks forward to attending NC State in the fall of 2024 and is excited to be working alongside creative and talented individuals once again.

ERIC DANG - Writer/Actor

Eric Dang is a student attending University of North Carolina Charlotte, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Music Performance. He has always had a keen interest for filmmaking and acting. Using his creativity, which has been developed throughout his years of studying digital media, he helps through each stage of production. His ability to tame his wild imagination has aided in past film projects, allowing the team to always bring the audience something unique and unexpected.
