My name is William Purhamus “Will” and I’ve known Robert, Sylvia, Hailey, and Cole for a couple of years. I met them through racing at Langley Speedway. Racing has brought us closer than I ever could’ve imagined! The Bruces have become family!

I’m starting a GoFundMe for them as Robert suffered a massive heart attack while at the race track on June 21st, while Cole was racing. Robert “RB” is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back, without any questions asked. In fact, he probably wouldn’t ask for it back…lol! He can be a little rough around the edges, but that’s what makes him, him! He loves his family and loves racing! His smirk is infectious! RB is truly one of a kind!

Tragedy has struck this family, and they have a long road ahead of them. Their faith in our Lord and Savior is carrying them daily. During this very difficult time and time of uncertainty, the absolute last thing they should have to worry about is “how much a hotel room is, how much is the next meal, gas for transportation” and all the other expenses that will continue to rack up while they are focused on their husband and dad.
