Mama Africa FC, in partnership with the African Canadian Association of Ottawa (ACAO), is proud to represent our city on one of the biggest soccer stages in the country — the Golden Goal $100K Tournament in Toronto. ⚽

What started as a small community hobby has grown into a movement built on one powerful belief:

Mama Africa FC was founded to remove the financial barriers that too often keep talented athletes from competing. Every player on our roster trains, travels, and competes completely free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our community, sponsors, and supporters.

We’ve built a team that reflects Ottawa’s diversity and heart — a group of players united by passion, discipline, and pride in representing their city and heritage.

The Opportunity

This year, our team has been invited to compete at the Golden Goal $100K Tournament in Toronto — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase Ottawa’s talent, diversity, and spirit on a national stage.

We’re currently $10,000 away from our goal to cover:

Tournament registration and travel
