Help me realize my dream to race Pro Enduro and Downhill!

Hello, my name is Thayne Hammer. I am an 18-year-old mountain bike racer from Redding, CA. I am raising funds to cover the expenses to compete in USAC and UCI sanctioned Enduro & DH events throughout the Northwest and Southwest US, targeting the points required to secure my UCI Pro Racing License. My long-term goal is to race professionally on the UCI International Circuit and represent at the highest level of international competition in both disciplines.

In 2025, I leveled up to race the Jr Pro Men Class placing 3rd at the California Enduro Series (5 rounds), 2nd at the Northstar DH Series (5 rounds), and 13th/39 in my Pro Men debut at the Mad River Enduro.

I started riding bikes as a toddler, following my dad around on our local MTB trails. My first taste of racing was at a cyclocross race on my Trek Jet 12. From there, I continued to race Cyclocross, XC, and BMX. I signed up for my first Enduro race in 2021.

In addition to racing, I also spend my time working out, riding, and working on bikes. I work at RDG Wrap Company and have an unofficial bike wrapping business out of my garage on the side that I started when I was 14 years old. I am a high school graduate.

I currently receive racer support/sponsorship from MAXXIS Tires, OGIO, Better Bolts, 100%, Leatt, Ryno Power, Renthal, GoPro, and MTB NorCal. The funds I am raising will first go towards the purchase of a new DH race bike (Santa Cruz V10), followed by race entry fees, parts, and travel expenses.
