Help Me Be By My Mother's Side During Her Hospital Stay / Journey

"Hi everyone,

My name is Rachel Badeaux, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My wonderful mom, Edna Smith, is currently in the hospital. She went in on August 15 for open-heart surgery and had complications arise, which has caused her to still be hospitalized. My mom is the person who, if anyone needed her, would always show up for them. She is the neighborhood mom that all the kids loved, and the thought of her facing this difficult time without me by her side is a weight I can't describe.

I have been there for her since day one when she went in, but I can't financially do it without extra help. The accumulating costs of travel and food have gotten to be exhausting. I am currently facing a significant financial barrier to being physically present for her when she needs me most.

I am asking for your help to cover these essential travel and food expenses. Your generous donations will go directly toward:

Fuel/Transportation costs for the travels, and

Basic food costs during the visits.
