Hello! My name is Angel Gutierrez, and I’m a first-generation college student at The University of Tulsa, majoring in Biology (Pre-Med). I’m currently in my fourth year and plan to attend dental school soon.

This semester, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Thailand, where I’ll visit research labs and microbiology centers to learn about fermented foods and their microbial properties. This experience will help me develop my research skills, expand my global perspective, and strengthen my preparation for dental school.

Unfortunately, this program isn’t covered by financial aid, so I’ll be paying out of pocket. I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping me fund this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
