My name is Alisha Robinson. I am a hauler based in Cotati, Ca. When the firestorm began a week ago, many, many people within the horse community jumped into action. As a hauler with multiple vehicles, I am closest to this aspect of the relief efforts. When needed, dozens of trucks and trailers jumped into action without hesitation. Many of these people have been running their vehicles on a voluntary basis since then, not only working for free, but also spending hundreds of dollars on fuel in the process. My goal is provide drivers with some relief, so that we can continue to relocate horses for evacuees in the coming days. Once GoFundMe approves this page and releases funds, I will be writing checks to as many of the haulers that have donated their equipment and time for the past week as possible to help recoup their fuel costs.
