Please Help Fuel Meagan's Post-Bacc Journey

Meagan most recently graduated from UCLA with summa cum laude honors and two bachelors degrees. This is in addition to receiving three associates degrees from Santa Monica College.

Throughout her time at UCLA, she has been featured in various Daily Bruin articles serving as the Transfer Student Representative for UCLA and she has been interviewed by the UC Office of the President as their UCLA featured transfer graduate.

Just a few weeks ago, Meagan was selected to be featured in the UCLA yearbook for her academic accomplishments, community engagement, and extracurriculars. Meagan has juggled many extracurriculars in her time at UCLA, including: working 2-3 jobs, volunteering at an animal clinic, assisting over a dozen prospective transfers get accepted into UCLA, joining a co-ed fraternity, spearheading her own research project, mentoring newly admitted students during their first set of classes, and serving in student government to name a few.

Meagan was accepted into UCI‘s highly competitive pre-medical post bacc program and she was one of only 6 students out of 70+ selected for the cohort. This program is an extremely rigorous two year preparation for either medical school or veterinary school. It includes GRE and MCAT prep, the necessary courses for admission, interview assistance, advising, and more. Meagan’s participation in this program will bring her closer to her career goal of working as a veterinarian in disadvantaged communities.

Meagan’s program will cost nearly $50,000 and they do not provide financial aid or any financial assistance. I am asking for monetary donations in any amount as your donation will enable Meagan to continue with her post bacc studies and career goal.
