Fuel Madeline's Passion for World Studies

Hi! My name is Madeline and I’m fundraising for an educational tour to Greece through my school for April of 2025. The payment deadline is mid December, and my family doesn’t have that type of money on hand. It is roughly 5,000$ all together to get there and back, but literally anything is extremely helpful.

The trip is through my school’s humanities program, which revolves around cultural analysis and world studies/research. I’ve been fascinated by the world since I was really young and traveling to see these places I’ve admired is a dream I’m hoping to see happen. I’ve never left the state of Maine, as I’ve always been more lower class and just can’t afford it. But I’m trying everything in my power to have this opportunity I might never have again. I’ll be doing fundraising and volunteer work on top of this, and I’ll be working very hard to try and make this a little more reasonable for me and my family.

I take pride in my education and will do whatever I can to further my knowledge of the things I take interest in. I do well in school and have a hope of furthering my education in the future. Right now, this is an amazing opportunity presented to me and I just can’t let it pass me by because of general income issues.
