Our favorite blue-haired librarian Lex has been invited to speak at the Missouri Library Association Conference this year! She is absolutely brimming with excitement and, honestly, she’s a little humbled by being offered this incredible opportunity.

This conference is going to be such a fantastic chance for Lex to connect with fellow library enthusiasts, swap stories, and learn a ton of new things she can bring right back to her library branch and, most importantly, to our community! Plus, she's super eager to share her passion and experience with others, which, if you know Lex, you know she does with her whole heart!

Here's the tricky bit: while this is an amazing professional development opportunity, her library system isn't going to sponsor her trip. That means Lex is dedicating her own vacation days and covering all the costs herself! We're talking registration fees, hotel stays, food, and gas.
