Hi everyone, its Kian again heading off on another couple of bike racing trips and... I'M SO EXCITED!

Because of my late mtb season and an illness I got a super late start to cyclocross season this year and all my goals were in jeopardy. But I was able to land some good results just in the nick of time to get selected by USA CX to race in Europe for the week of Thanksgiving. I will be racing in my first cyclocross World Cups ever, Tabor in the Czech Republic and Flamanville in France over the next two weekends.

If all goes as planned I will be selected to race the World Championship block in late January which would include 2 more World Cup races along with Worlds. This has been my goal for the season so I'm excited.

I've been racing cyclocross since I can remember, and since this is my last season as a junior I want to make the most of it. Both Tabor and Flamanville are great courses and not too crazy like the races that I did in Belgium last year, so this could help translate to some good results. Even though I should have a lot more points I'm just happy that I won't be outside the first 4 rows in the start grid. This will give me a good chance to get a decent result which would be amazing considering the fastest cross racers in the world will all be there. Including 5 of my own US teammates, and 3 of them are ranked in the top 10 in the world.

Its going to be an incredible experience and I'm super thankful that my parents stepped up to make this trip possible at the last minute.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me! I am so lucky to be able to race bikes and to travel here in the US and internationally because it is so expensive. The friends I have made, along with all the places I have experienced will be with me forever.

Sincerely, Kian

p.s. I will post updates to my Instagram/facebook accounts, my website blog, and occasionally to this fundraiser so that I can keep in touch!
