Fuel KAIROS Movement Collective's Los Angeles Debut

Hiya everyone! My name is Kaley Logan and I am the founder and director of Los Angeles based dance collective, KAIROS Movement Collective. We are raising funds to cover the costs leading up to our first long form piece, performing June 21st. Any funds gathered will firstly go towards rehearsal space fees. Any remaining will go to providing food and water to cast members during long rehearsals and travel compensation. Any funds not utilized for this project will remain in our savings to put towards future projects.

KAIROS Movement Collective is a group of movement creatives driven by the desire of community connection to facilitate growth and evolve as both dance artists and as human beings. Our collective is built of SoCal locals as well as creatives who have replanted themselves in LA, both seeking to further their path as dance professionals. KMC was formed to fill the need for a space of likeminded young artists to explore and develop their craft, and perform with an emphasis of community and connection. We hold the strong desire to observe, challenge, break down, and rebuild expectations of the existing dance world. We value unlearning hierarchies and lead with the mindset that each human in the space is both a student and a teacher. We all have the knowledge to educate and better one another. We value process and project over perfection and product. KMC has the founding belief to amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC creatives.

At this time, KAIROS Movement Collective is a non-profit collective; any rewards or honorariums received from performances go directly back into our funds for future projects.
