Fuel Jesse's Effort to Aid Asheville Storm Victims
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Jesse and I currently live in Swananoa, North Carolina (10min outside Asheville North Carolina)
You may have heard of the absolute devastation experienced in Western North Carolina as a result of Tropical Storm Helene.
Lives have been lost, homes completely swept away, and thousands stuck with no power, no water, and no way to get out. The picture on this campaign, is a picture of the River Arts District in Asheville. I took it myself on Saturday, September 28th.
The area that I live in is one of the hardest hit, however I have been blessed to have not experienced the loss that many next to me have.
Furthermore, I have been blessed with the support of friends and family in the North Myrtle Beach area.
Therefore, I have taken upon myself the effort of collecting supplies and aid from the generosity of my North Myrtle Beach family, and delivering it to those in great need, in Asheville NC.
However, as an average-joe, I am limited in my personal resources for transportating the amazing support that has come in.
Thus, I am creating this go-fund-me to help cover the cost of renting a delivery truck to transport supplies.
Any extra funds not used directly for the truck rental and gas will be forwarded to disaster relief organizations in operation in the Asheville area and used on a case-by-case basis in local support.
Please, and thank you sooooo very much!
