Fuel Jason's Future: A Journey to Professional Basketball

Donation protected
Hello everyone and nice to meet you!

My name is Jason Bourelly, but if you already know me, I’m sure you call me JJ. I am 14 years old and a resident of Bensalem, PA in Bucks County, where I have lived my entire life.

I attended Neshaminy Montessori from age 3 until kindergarten graduation. The experience I had at Montessori school helped to shape me into the young man I am today. I feel, especially at such a young age, this school, along with my parents, taught me how to think critically and outside of the box. It was this unique way of teaching that gave me, and the rest of the class, the skills and confidence to try and figure out how to complete tasks on my own.

At this point, my parents enrolled me into our public school system. I attended first through sixth grade at Valley Elementary and from there, moved onto Snyder Middle School for seventh and eighth grade. At our 8th grade “Move Up Day” (Graduation), I received the Snyder Excellence Award and maintained a 4.0 GPA all school year.

In the fall, I begin my new adventure at Bensalem High School (BHS). Beginning with my freshman year, I am enrolled in all honor classes and picked a foreign language to study.

Now let’s talk BASKETBALL!!!!
I am a point guard standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 132 pounds. I have an undeniable love for the game of basketball. The passion I have for this sport motivates me every day to be a better person, player and team-mate.

I think I had the dream of becoming a professional basketball player the first time I held onto the ball, looked up at my father and then looked up at the net that seemed so far away. From that moment on, I was always studying and learning as much as I could about the game and what it takes to be a great team player.

To develop as a player, at the age of 8, I started playing AAU basketball along with playing in various local leagues.
My past team experiences included:
-Next Up Academy, Spring League (Chester, PA)
  • -Spring 2024
-Far From Average (Philadelphia, PA)
  • -Summer 2024
-Valley In-House (Bensalem, PA)
  • -1st through 7th grade
-Valley Vipers (Bensalem, PA)
  • -2 years
-PAL Summer League (Bensalem, PA)
  • -3rd through 8th grade
-Snyder Middle School (Bensalem, PA)
  • -7th and 8th grade
-Chargers (AAU)
  • -3 years
-Philly Pride (AAU)
  • -1 year
-Bensalem High School (BHS) JV Summer League (Bensalem, PA)
  • - Summer 2024

While attending Snyder Middle School, I played 2 years of basketball for the “Owls”, being captain of the team in 8th grade.
Along with being on teams, I have participated in different camps and showcases in order to meet new athletes, coaches and learn effective training techniques and strategies. I never want to stop learning and advancing in basketball. I want to take it to the next level and with my drive and determination, I know I can do it.

Some of the events I participated in included:
-All American Showcase (Philadelphia, PA)
-Elliott Cadeau Camp, Holiday 2023 Camp (Montclair State University, NJ)
  • -December 23, 2023
-The Jungle Summer Camp
  • -Summer 2023
-Marquee MYM Camp (Manalapan, NJ)
  • -January 27, 2024 – January 28, 2024
-Bensalem High School Summer Camp (Bensalem, PA)
  • -2023
  • -2024
-3rd Annual City vs County Basketball Game (Bristol, PA)
  • -May 26, 2024
-23rd Annual Philly USA All City Classic 8th Grade Youth Development Clinic (Philadelphia, PA)
  • -May 9, 2024 (4:30pm – 9:30pm)

Many great and wonderful opportunities exist out there for us young, talented athletes but all these great events come with a price tag (and sometimes not a cheap one). That is why I am reaching out to my village, my community and my supporters…….to help me on my journey to pursue my lifelong dream…

The costs of competition, camps, and showcases associated with basketball at this level can add up quickly. With your support, I can focus on my training and preparation without worrying about the financial burden.

Please think about investing in me!

My dedication to this sport is magnetic!

Each contribution made, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and brings me one step closer to focusing on what matters most- playing ball.
