Larry just retired a couple of years ago. He and my mother-in-law sold everything to buy a small traveling tiny home to see North America. They haven't gotten as far as planned, unfortunately. Larry started to notice some alarming signs that something was wrong and was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Larry and my mother-in-law, Laura, have put their travels on hold and are pursuing cancer care at OSU in Columbus, Ohio. They have a long commute to get to his appointments and chemotherapy treatments. They are living on a fixed and tight income and are in need of help with gas money, prescriptions, and medical bills (yes, they still have to pay some, even after applying for financial aid). Larry has a large crew of grandkids who love and adore him; some would say he's their best friend. He's the kind of guy that would drop everything and come to help if you needed him. He is a gem of a human and a pillar for our family.
