Hi, my name is Mr. Sorto, and if you know who I am, it's because you've seen my exceptional students dancing on Facebook , Instagram , TikTok , or maybe on the news .

This summer, we have been afforded the opportunity perform at KIPP School Summit in Orlando, Florida. Estrellitas was chosen as one of eight student performing groups (out of more than 30) to represent KIPP DC at our parent organization's annual summer conference.

When our team travels, we make sure that our students do more than just perform. We take dance classes with other dance professionals; we visit colleges and universities that we might want to attend in the future, and we participate in local cultural and artistic events to broaden our horizons.

All this is made possible by your generosity. We never want Estrellitas to feel that finances are an obstacle to dancing or seeing the world. That is why all their training and travel are provided at no cost to their families. Your generous donations support travel expenses (food, lodging, and transportation) and costuming expenses (new outfits and shoes) for the children who are part of this opportunity.
