Fuel Diem's Drive to Work Again

Hiya Friends!

I wanted to add a background to explain my urgency. I have been struggling with finding a fulltime position for over a year now. There’s a mountain of applications that I have submitted where about every fifth one results in an interview. Unfortunately, none of them resulted in a offer until this last Friday, contingent upon passing a background check. I’ve been working several part-time jobs teaching college courses and subbing at K-12 schools for 3 different districts where I needed to pass a level 1 background check. (Subbing has given walking pneumonia twice, the flu and a cold) I have already passed background checks for the cities of Mesa, Tempe and Maricopa county, so I am certain I will pass this one. I had been doing side gigs using my automotive knowledge and tools to make ends meet. Sadly, where rent and food were higher on the list then other bills, this has caused me to fall behind on my car payments. The loan company took my car Sunday night but have agreed to return it to me if I can bring my payments current. As I now no longer have access to my tools and the ability to travel for various jobs, this has severely limited my earning capacity without my car.

As you all are aware, I love my car! It’s the only material thing that is my pride and joy! To the point that washing my car is Zen for me. It was heartbreaking walking out and no longer seeing my Beautiful Blue Baby there to greet me. The loan company has given me 10 days to pay them before they auction off my dream. As of this post I have 7 days to pay the bank in cash. I struggle to write this as I know my choices put me here, so it is with utmost humility that I am requesting your help.
