Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed supporters of the arts, today I come to you with a heartfelt plea on behalf of the Detroit Echo slam team! These incredible poets- Arrie Lane, Sin, Remedi, P Tha Poet, Aaliyah, and RJMC Thee Bunny Lord- are poised to represent our beloved city at the prestigious SoFried Poetry slam.

However, the journey to SoFried comes with financial obstacles particularly in lodging and travel expenses. That is why we are turning to our community for support. Our team is filled with poets who embody the essence of Detroit, and they are ready to showcase the resilience, creativity, and spirit of our city on the national stage!
