Hi guys, my name is Danae and I'm in flight school to become a pilot! Most people end up dropping out because they run out of money, and I hate to be a statistic, but that's where I'm at.
I have a huge student loan that I took out (almost $150k) and I have enough money in there to finish the actual program, but the payment for the checkrides (the final test to actually get each license) comes out of your own personal finances, of which I have $95 left.
The first three checkrides cost me $1,500 each, and the next three are $3,000, $1,500, and $1,500. Not to mention I need money for food so I don't die.
Normally I wouldn't ask for help because I enjoy working for my money, but this flight program is 6 days a week at unpredictable times each day so the school requires me to not have a job. It's kind of an impossible situation.
If all you can give is $5, that would mean a lot to me! And maybe one day I'll be the captain on your flight to visit family for the holidays.
Follow me on instagram @igotmovesbabe if you want to see more of the journey. Also, shoot me a DM if you donated so I can thank you personally!
