Fuel Creativity: Fund Osvaldo's Student Short Film "Woof" !
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Osvaldo Cornejo Jr. and I am a sophomore film student at Columbia College Chicago, who’s currently working on their Directing II Short Film, a dramatic comedy titled “Woof.”
“Woof.” is a lighthearted sentiment masked by an assumingly devastating situation. Through a comedic touch, this story brings to light a theme of there being a good valuable lesson in a rather scary experience. Good things can come from a bad day. The story follows Alex, a hotheaded and vibrant girl who’s been called into a veterinary clinic because her lost dog had been found, in the waiting room she meets a stranger, Dylan, who is here for her own emergency as she believes to have possibly hit a dog with her car, after some small talk- the two realize they’re here for the same dog. . . and so they take the conversation outside- not to fight but instead to talk heart-to-heart and learn from one another about how to go about their situations and personal dilemnas. . .
Spoiler alert, the dog was never in danger to begin with!
Your donations would not only help support my team, which is full of passionate students who aspire to a filmmaking career and future. But your donation would also help fund professional equipment rental, including set decoration, lighting equipment, sound equipment, camera equipment, location compensation, and transport. And most of all, you would also help fund meals for our hard working cast and crew! No donation is too small, and especially no donation is too big :)
Thank you so much for your consideration and we look forward to sharing our passion and creativity in my upcoming short film “Woof.” !
