Fuel Cameron’s Journey to AAU Jr. Olympics

It’s me ~ Cameron, aka CamCam, KillaCam, or CP3!!! I’m a 9-year-old student-athlete (track & football) and I am excited to inform you that I have qualified for the 2025 AAU Jr. Olympics!!! This is now my 2nd year of running track and through hard work, I have managed to qualify!

This is an exciting time for me and my family! My mom has traveled and sacrificed a lot for me to be able to compete at local meets for the 2025 season. These have been critical meets to prepare me for the District and Regional meets, which lead towards the Olympic qualifying meet!

A HUGE accomplishment of mine for this season is setting a new 200m PR of 28.07 during the AAU Qualifying Regional Meet!! At the start of this season, I was running more like 30 seconds.

It's all about progression and through hard work, consistency, attitude, and effort, I am seeing my progress! This is not to boast, but to show my current and future supporters that I am putting in the required work to be better, faster, and stronger each time.

This year, the AAU Jr. Olympics will take place in Houston, Texas from July 27th - August 2nd. We are doing a GoFundMe to help with expenses, including travel, lodging, food, hydration, and entry fees.

I can assure you that every dime received will go towards my journey to the AAU Jr. Olympics.

It’s my first time qualifying but it won’t be the last!!! Philippians 4:13, my favorite, "I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength!" If I keep believing...keep working hard...stay focused....even at the age of 9 years old, it will happen!!
