A young man who believes in story, in the power of writing that lifts the human experience, who in the midst of the crushing Hollywood machine holds onto what it means to be a committed artist willing to hold true to integrity and joy and building work that comes straight from the heart alongside people who do the same, is putting his pilot into a short film production version. The Law Brothers is a wildly unique comedy that keeps classic forms of humor racing and craftily aloft and has already placed in Screencraft’s highly competitive competition and received high praise from Hollywood execs.

Written and spear-headed by our son August Gladstone and buoyed by this team of fellow Emerson College graduates, The Law Brothers project is full of promise through their committed vision. They need a mere $10,000 to bring this first step of the journey to life.

Their video pitch is on the way, the script has been fine tuned, edited, punched up, and is in tip top shape. All they need right now is this financial support.

The funding covers a budget that is classic film making: insurance, talent fees, crew, rentals, designers, materials, craft services, travel, etc.

I’ll update with all pertinent info in about a week, but things are rolling merrily along and I wanted to get this rolling, too, to help give them some spirited wind under their comedy-soaked wings.
