Fuel Curly's Journey to the Crossfit Games!

Hi, my name is Anthony Monaco, and I'm 34 years old. I have Friedreich's Ataxia, a neuromuscular disease that affects my body's ability to control its muscles. Because of this challenge, I was drawn to CrossFit and found a gym that specializes in training adaptive athletes.
Thanks to the encouragement of my amazing coaches, I entered the Open, and to my surprise, I made it to the semifinals. With further hard work and guidance from my coaches, I qualified for the Adaptive CrossFit Games, and I’m thrilled to share that I made it to the finals!
Participating in the finals in San Antonio is a dream come true, but I need your help to make it happen. Due to my disability, I am unable to work, and the costs for registration, travel, and accommodation are beyond my reach.
CrossFit has significantly improved my functionality and makes my day-to-day life easier. Training helps me maintain muscle strength, improve coordination, and increase my overall physical and mental well-being. Competing in the Adaptive CrossFit Games is not just about personal achievement; it’s about spreading awareness for Friedreich's Ataxia and inspiring others facing similar challenges.
Your generosity can make this dream a reality. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to competing and showcasing what adaptive athletes can achieve. By supporting me, you're also helping to raise awareness for Friedreich's Ataxia and the importance of adaptive sports.
Not only will you be supporting me, you'll also be helping the best little boy, Henry, go to his favorite boarding school to hang out with all his puppy friends! ***photos below***
