Help a Young Pitmaster’s Culinary Dream Take Flight!
Meet Aiden, my 11-year-old stepson and a true BBQ prodigy. He’s been smoking meat since he was just 3 years old, and there’s nothing he loves more than firing up the smoker and sharing his mouthwatering creations. This summer is his opportunity to show off his pitmaster skills on the big stage by entering real kids’ BBQ competitions—ideally in Kentucky or Texas, where he can experience the heart of true competitive BBQ and learn from the best. Aiden has already proven he can compete with the best: 1st Place in the 8–12 age group at the 2025 Meat Fest Green Bay—his very first competition! 5th Place Overall in the KCBS Junior Q, competing at the bottom of his age group against 42 talented young pitmasters from across the country! But his journey doesn’t stop at competitions. Aiden recently launched his own catering LLC, taking his passion to the next level by serving his award-winning brisket, ribs, and burnt ends to families, reunions, and local events. He runs his own ghost kitchen every other weekend, buying all his own meat, smoking it himself, and turning a profit—all of which he proudly saves for his future. Now, to grow his business and share his talent with more people, Aiden needs a food trailer. This would allow him to safely and efficiently cook, transport, and serve his BBQ at competitions, markets, and catering gigs. The startup costs—including equipment, trailer buildout, permits, and supplies—are substantial for any family, but especially for a young chef chasing his dream. We have a large, supportive family ready to rally behind him, and we’d love your help making this dream a reality.
