HELP my band and I get to Pearl Harbor! Hi everyone, my name is Jaden Talley, and I'm a 16-year-old student at Dutchtown High School located in Hampton, GA. I play for our school band, specifically the drumline. Our school's band name is the Sound of Dutchtown and we have some exciting news to share! Our band has been invited to yet another prestigious event: the 83rd commemoration of Pearl Harbor on December 2024. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to honor our veterans and showcase our talents on an international stage. Participating in this event not only allows us to pay tribute to the heroes of the past but also to grow as musicians and individuals.
Making these trips possible requires significant financial support. The band and I need funds to cover travel expenses, accommodations, meals, and the transportation. My goal is to raise [$5,000] to ensure that I will be able to travel, participate, and play with every member of the Sound of Dutchtown in these historic events.
