Bill Skinner Memorial Fund

On Saturday, August 5 at 5:37am our dad, Billy Edward Skinner, passed away unexpectedly in the Slu Hospital Intensive Care Unit in St. Louis, Mo.  The cause of death was determind as cardiac arrest.  Despite resuscitation, his body was unable to accept the oxygen he needed to be able to survive.  Bill was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and wonderful friend to so many.  His death brought not only shock and pain, but also the realization that he left with no will or life insurance policy to leave behind.  Because of this, we are currently struggling to find the means to get through the loss of our father financially.  Bill left behind his wife and four children; two with significant and incredibly costly disabilities.  Due to the care required for the kids, his wife Jennifer has been unable to work for the last 17 years.  Spending 17 years out of work force will make it incredibly difficult for her to quickly and efficiently find a job that will bring in enough income to support the family.  We greatly appreciate any kind of help that is offered right now to help cover cremation costs, hospital bills, memorial costs and keeping the house running until Jennifer is able to sell the house and find work.  While we are all in shock and completely devastated at the loss of our dad, we know that the main focus right now is making sure that everything will be ok when the memorial is over and life returns to normal.  We thank you SO much for your help and appreciate every kind word of condolences we have recieved since he passed.
