Support Laurie's Fight Against Cancer

Laurie Ware is an amazing daughter, sister, mother, and auntie who had a horrible situation thrown at her. For over two decades Laurie has been self-employed as a business owner - providing high quality daycare services to children in Montrose, CO. She is deeply dedicated to rescuing dogs - working with local shelters to help dogs find forever homes and taking in a few herself. She is the mother of two beautiful girls and the grandmother of a handsome baby boy. She has dedicated her life to helping others and bringing out the best in our children. She is loved by her family and community.

Laurie has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to the armpits, pelvis, and bones. This diagnosis came at the same time as the dissolution of her marriage.

Because of the magnitude of the diagnosis and intensity of the treatment protocol, Laurie is unable to work. Her family and friends are asking for any assistance in covering medical costs related to cancer treatment while she fights through this tough time.
