Our son Sam is 30 years old and works as a CPA for a firm in the Baltimore area. On May 17th, Sam had a stroke (specifically a cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST), a rare clotting stroke) with severe left-sided weakness. Thanks to the excellent care he received at SJMC and JHBMC, he is beginning his long road of recovery.

Sam is currently in acute rehab to improve his strength, balance, coordination, and executive function skills with a goal to return to living independently. We have set up this GoFundMe page to help Sam with his anticipated medical needs during his recovery.
