Cranioplasty surgery

Seeking Support for Critical Medical Procedure.

My name is Godson Dugbatey Abayateye, a 39-year-old from Ghana. I am married to Mrs. Bernice Abayateye, and together we are blessed with four children—three boys and one girl—who reside in Ghana.

I have dedicated my career to working on industrial sites,afro Carribean goods for import and export and training clients on afro Carribean shops dotted across the UK . Unfortunately, due to a significant health issue, I am presently unable to work and thus cannot afford the necessary surgery to return to my job and support my young family.

I am currently in the UK, where I am awaiting a cranioplasty following a medical emergency that occurred during my visit. In August 2024, I suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot in my brain. Although I have faced challenges, including speech difficulties and early signs of dementia, I am committed to overcoming this situation.

After my initial craniotomy, I was advised to return for a second surgery six months later. Upon arriving in the UK from Ghana, I was faced with unexpected costs before my scheduled procedure could take place. I have managed to raise £10,000 with the help of my wife, but I am seeking additional support to cover the remaining expenses and regain my health and livelihood.

The total amount invoiced for my craniotomy is £46,070.55, and the cost of the cranioplasty is currently unknown. To protect my brain in the interim, I am required to use a helmet.
